If you don’t have some of the basics down pat, you may want to take a beginning or fundamentals class before taking on a more challenging project.
Studios
These 2- or 3-hour sessions provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere where you can bring your own project and enjoy the company of others with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Your instructor can assist you with interpreting a pattern or stitch guide, selecting yarn or thread, or understanding a complicated technique. Studios are available for needlepoint, knitting and crochet.
Level 1: Beginning Classes
- Knitting – our 4-session Beginning Knitting Class is where you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off as well as how to read a yarn label and a pattern.
